Make a Donation to the MPA
If you would like to make a donation to the MPA, please send a check payable to: Medford
Police Association, PO Box 914, Medford, OR 97501. Please include any designation you
wish to make for the funds, such as "for training purposes", "for bereavement fund", "for
Christmas Needy Program", etc. Your donations are tax deductible so please include a return
envelope if you would like a receipt. Thank you for your generosity!
Requests for Donations
Every year we received more and more requests for donations to charitable or non-profit
organizations. It is the MPA's desire to keep giving to those who need it most. If you know of an
organization or are involved in an organization in need of monetary donations or donations of
time, feel free to send us a request.
The MPA requires a donation request in letter form, preferably on organization letterhead. The
request should include: the amount requested, where the money will go and contact
information. If possible a brochure or information sheet on the organization would be helpful.

MPA Gives Back to its Members
In addition to charitable contributions of money and time to the community, MPA also provides benefits to it members. As allowed by
non-profit regulations, we are able to throw three events for our member each year. Currently, those events consist of a children's
Christmas party, an adult Christmas party, and a donation to the Medford Police Department Awards Banquet.
Also, MPA purchases retiring officers' guns and badges to be gifted to them when they leave the department. This is a way MPA
chooses to honor those who have given such dedicated service to the department and the community.
Lastly, the MPA supports those members in times of grief and loss. Whether it be a monetary donation, delivery of flowers and well
wishes and/or assistance in the planning of memorial services or funerals, MPA is there for those within our department that need
help.
